Rail Crossing's Barkeeper can be found in the bar at the northeast corner of the town.

Player interactions

After completing Dude's other quest, the next time the player character visits the bar he will confront them over not paying a bill worth 170 Charons. Making him angry will cause him to ban you from the bar regardless of how you pay off the debt.

  • The player can pay off the debt.
  • The player can try to persuade him into believing that he had already paid. Failing this will make him angry. Alternatively if the player had already claimed that Dude was supposed to pay for it then the check automatically fails but he does not become angry.
  • If the player doesn't have any money (or wants to save some) they can decide to wash the dishes instead. It will also temporarily cause Sore Hands, but the debt will be paid off.
  • The player can insist that it could cause a diplomatic incident between SGS and Rail Crossing. It's not until the player leaves that the barkeeper becomes angry, otherwise the player can still do any of the other debt-paying options.
  • The player can attack him as an alternative to paying, but this will obviously turn everyone in Rail Crossing hostile.
