Spiderwebs. The translucent webs are electric web traps that have been detected.

Electric web traps are traps set by Coil Spiders and Greater Coil Spiders. Like most traps, they must be detected before they can be seen.

Unlike most traps, they cannot be disarmed or triggered with area of effect damage. They are not craftable nor usable by the player in any form.

When coil spiders of either kind not in combat come upon damaged but empty web traps, they attempt to repair it.

Effects

Electric web traps deal electric damage, which causes Stun if it penetrates armor.

They also cause Webbed, so their victims remain unable to move even if after the initial stun passes, or if it is resisted.

When someone triggers a web trap, all nearby coil spiders move in to investigate while their prey is stunned in the web.

Locations

Wherever there are coil spiders, there are electric web traps.
