Tchort is a sort of a deity worshipped by the Tchortists. Not much is known about it.

Description

The following is an excerpt from a tchortist lecture.

Tchort exists as a physical being, observable, tangible. Yet not able to fully communicate with us. But it gifted us with its flesh, and through scientific studies, we discovered that what was previously thought was "junk" DNA actually contained a genetic code necessary for the manifestation of Tchort in nearly any... living creature.

Now we come to the most important thing... Tchort's connection to evolution. So far, we've found undeniable evidence that without Tchort, there would be no... evolution. Bold statement, I know, but we've done research that proves that the absence of these, let's call them "Tchort genes" for now, even with their highly specialized functions, cause whole strands of DNA to simply break down and become useless.
