This slimy organ has an appearance of a heart whose muscle fibers are entwined with red mycelium, and it is full of viscous liquid. it smells horrible.

Cannot be sold.

Mycokardia is a plot item in Deep Caverns. It can be found on the remains of Pulsating Roots deep in the Mushroom Forest. It is easy to miss the actual mycokardia, the pulsating roots actually have three hotspots, though it might seem like they have two.

To be transported to the area from which the pulsating roots are reachable you have to get the Spore Infection a certain number of times. You can then travel back by climbing through the remains of the pulsating roots.

It is used to manufacture Psimorphic Biocide Grenades necessary to open the gate leading to Tchort.
