Old Jonas is the local Underrail expert of South Gate Station. He can be found in Crossroad Watch.
Background
Jonas is an old Underrail expert who has seen almost every corner of the caverns and the Underrail system in his life. He seems to have deep insight of the various creatures and other denizens of Underrail. He spends his old days mostly in the crossroad watchpost located just outside South Gate Station cave entrance. He does move to SGS cafeteria once the south metro tunnel is cleared.
Player interactions
Jonas can help the player with his knowledge of the dangers and creatures lurking in Underrail. He trades various items he has scavenged around and his prices are somewhat cheaper than what most other traders offer.
Quests
- Find Old Jonas's watch: Jonas wants you to retrieve his old digital watch he lost while scavenging around South Gate Outposts.
Loot
He has some loot that can be pickpocketed and additionally a random Tornado Crossbow, Leather Armor, 5 Burrower Poison Bolts and 5 Acid Bolts. Despite him being well outside the station, killing him will turn all South Gaters hostile.

He sells various items, including crafting components, belts, throwing knifes, batteries, lockpicks, traps, and some pistols.
